Cyclics is pleased to announce its developmental work on a CBT^® resin grade well suited for rotational molding applications requiring improved fuel permeation resistance. In combination with rotational molding grades of polyethylene (PE), our developmental grade resin, CBT^® XL101, forms an inner layer permeation barrier. The processing cycle time using CBT XL101 resin is similar to PE processing with standard equipment. A fuel tank incorporating CBT XL101 resin will have significantly reduced fuel permeation in accordance with upcoming environmental regulations by California Air Resource Board (CARB) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
